陆丰凹陷是一个已被证实的富生烃凹陷,目前钻井油气显示多集中于凹陷南部,其为当前珠江口盆地的重点研究地区。由于陆丰南地区文昌组沉积期构造活动复杂且钻井较少,研究区沉积特征及演化过程尚不清楚,制约了该区下一步的油气勘探。以沉积学与层序地层学原理为依据,综合应用岩心、录井、测井和地震等资料,对珠江口盆地陆丰南地区古近系文昌组进行了层序地层划分,建立了三维层序地层格架,并在层序地层格架内分析了沉积体系展布特征。根据各层序边界在地震、岩性和测井资料上的响应特征,认为陆丰南地区文昌组整体为一个二级层序,可划分为6 个三级层序,它们构成了湖盆从初始裂陷、强烈裂陷、弱裂陷、热坳陷的完整沉积充填与演化过程。在研究区识别出波状、亚平行或乱岗状地震相,平行、亚平行席状地震相,楔形杂乱充填地震相,帚状或楔形前积反射地震相,斜交型或S 型前积反射地震相和低幅丘形地震相,它们在垂向上具有关联性。研究区主要发育辫状河三角洲、近岸水下扇、扇三角洲、湖泊与浊积扇等沉积相类型,受控于湖盆演化的各个阶段,沉积体系在垂向上具有明显的旋回性特征。综合分析认为:SQ2 层序内辫状河三角洲前缘亚相为陆丰南地区勘探的有利相带,SQ3 和SQ4 层序内近岸水下扇、扇三角洲和浊积砂体均为潜在的勘探目标。
