Abstract:

Based on the principle of sequence stratigraphy and the research technique, the seismic profile and logging
data are applied to carry out the division and comparison of base level cycles. The sedimentary facies is studied. The
result shows that E53
3 in the study area can be divided into four sedimentary cycles. Its provenance is mainly from the
northern uplifted area, and displays in parallel multi"spot source. The source supplies of adjacent points are sufficient,
and the deposits in this area are mainly nearshore subaqueous fan which can be further divided into three subfacies
including fan root, mid#fan and end$fan.
